About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and skilled DevOps Engineer to join their fully remote team, supporting operations based out of Manchester . In this role, you will be instrumental in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, focusing on automating and streamlining our client's software development lifecycle. You will build and maintain scalable, reliable, and efficient infrastructure, ensuring seamless deployment, monitoring, and management of applications. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and optimize application deployment processes.
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud infrastructure and applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
