Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their technology hub in Belfast . This role is critical for bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, focusing on automating and streamlining our build, deployment, and infrastructure management processes. You will work with cutting-edge technologies to enhance system reliability, scalability, and efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and testing.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve stability.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Ensure the security and compliance of cloud environments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or similar role.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell).
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
