About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and proactive DevOps Engineer to join their expanding technology department, operating on a remote basis. This role is critical in bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, ensuring the efficient deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of our client's applications and infrastructure. You will be responsible for automating and streamlining our build, test, and deployment processes, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the engineering teams. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software delivery.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security, implementing proactive measures to prevent issues.
- Automate operational tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure smooth and rapid release cycles.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and deployment-related issues in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
