About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to enhance their development and operations pipeline in Leeds . This role is critical for ensuring the smooth, efficient, and scalable deployment of our client's software solutions. You will work closely with development and IT teams to automate processes, manage infrastructure, and maintain the reliability of production systems. The hybrid work model allows for collaboration in the office while offering flexibility. Key Responsibilities
- Automate and streamline software deployment processes using CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, primarily on AWS or Azure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role focused on infrastructure and automation.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms like AWS , Azure, or GCP.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, scripting languages (e.g., Bash , Python), and configuration management tools.
- Strong understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and monitoring tools.
- Experience with operating systems (Linux/Unix) and networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
