About the Role
Our client is looking for a proactive and skilled DevOps Engineer to join their growing technology team in Stoke-on-Trent . Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code for automation (e.g., scripting, CI/CD pipelines).
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure) and services.
- Implement and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Ensure the security and compliance of infrastructure and deployment processes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role (e.g., System Administrator, SRE).
- Strong experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and operating systems.
