About the Role
Our client is looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join their agile technology team in Leeds . This role is integral to bridging the gap between software development and IT operations, focusing on automating and streamlining our deployment pipelines and infrastructure management. You will work to enhance system reliability, scalability, and performance through robust CI/CD practices and infrastructure-as-code principles. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated software build, testing, and deployment.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve reliability and scalability.
- Manage and automate cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Implement and manage containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, or Systems Administration role.
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container orchestration.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Strong understanding of networking, security, and system monitoring tools.
