DFG Manager

Local authority in Staffordshire are currently looking for a DFG manager for an initial contract until March 2027.

Purpose of the role:

• Leadership and development of home adaptations service

• Ensuring a high-performing, accessible and value for money service

• Strategic management and operational performance with focus frontline delivery

• Ensure that the Council’s customer care and partnership policies underpin aspects of service delivery to achieve better outcomes

• Development and continuous improviement os adaptations service to meet and exceed regulatory standards

• Comply with relevant Health and Safety regulations and standards, and that this can be evidenced transparently using reliable and comprehensive data

• Ensure appropriate service agreements are in placeand regularly reviewed

• Set performance standards for the service and report on performance to senior leaders, cllrs residents and external bodies.

• Action on performance to improve

• Ensure all necessary contracts and partnership arrangements are in place to support the delivery of cost-effective services that lead to high levels of satisfaction

• Promote culture continuous improvement, including demonstrable learning from complaints

• Lead on the financial performance and monitoring of the service, including budget setting, monitoring and reporting

• Ensure that strategic risks, issues and dependencies that may adversely affect the delivery of the service or good outcomes are managed and tracked

• Work with colleagues to develop workflows and digital services

£375 a day

Hybrid Working - Min 2 days office

Initial contract until March 2027 but possible extension
