About the role
We are looking for a brilliant, experienced Digital Channels and Content Executive to join our energetic Digital Engagement team to create engaging content and campaigns and help to grow and optimise Crisis' key digital channels.
As Crisis' Digital Channels and Content Executive, you'll work closely with colleagues across the Digital Channels and Content team, external agencies and teams across the organisation to plan, create and optimise engaging, accessible content across social media, email and web.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience of delivering digital content campaigns who enjoys using audience insight and performance data to continually improve content and engagement. You'll have the opportunity to create insight-led content and deliver integrated digital activity that supports Crisis' fundraising, campaigning and organisational objectives.
You'll play an important role in helping Crisis deliver an engaging, accessible and insight-led digital experience across our key channels.
This role helps to maintain and optimise key areas of the Crisis website in partnership with our SEO agency and plays an important role in ensuring email campaigns meet best-practice standards and deliver a high-quality supporter experience. You'll also create social-first, insight-led content, and support the Social Media Manager with the monitoring and moderation of Crisis' social media channels (as required).
About you
You'll have experience in a digital marketing, content or communications role and a proven track record of creating engaging content across a range of digital channels. You'll be an excellent writer with strong attention to detail, an understanding of digital accessibility principles, and an ability to adapt content for different audiences and platforms.
You'll be confident using analytics and audience insight to evaluate performance and optimise content and will have experience working in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities. You'll be highly organised, proactive and creative, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and external partners.
Knowledge of digital accessibility, SEO best practice and email marketing would be an advantage.
