Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary Digital Content Strategist to join their marketing team in Brighton . You will be responsible for planning, creating, and distributing content across multiple digital channels, ensuring it is relevant, impactful, and optimized for search engines. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a cohesive digital content strategy that supports marketing goals, brand positioning, and audience engagement.
- Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring timely creation, publication, and distribution of content across various platforms (website, blog, social media, email).
- Conduct keyword research and SEO analysis to inform content creation and optimize content for search visibility.
- Oversee the creation of diverse content formats, including written articles, blog posts, infographics, videos, and social media updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, design, product) and external agencies to produce high-quality, on-brand content.
- Measure and report on the performance of content marketing initiatives, using data to identify trends and make strategic recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Content Strategist , Digital Marketer, or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating successful content initiatives.
- Deep understanding of content marketing principles, SEO best practices, and various digital marketing channels.
- Proficiency with content management systems (CMS), analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics), and SEO tools.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and guide content creation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
