About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical Digital E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Reading . This role is vital for understanding and improving our online sales performance by analyzing vast amounts of data. You will be responsible for tracking key performance indicators, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to guide marketing and sales strategies. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills, a deep understanding of web analytics, and a passion for optimizing the e-commerce customer journey, contributing to data-driven decision-making in Reading .

Key Responsibilities

• Track, analyze, and report on key e-commerce metrics, including website traffic, conversion rates, customer acquisition cost, and ROI.
• Utilize web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to monitor user behavior and identify opportunities for site optimization.
• Develop dashboards and reports to communicate performance insights to stakeholders across the business.
• Conduct A/B testing and other experiments to optimize website design, user experience, and conversion funnels.
• Analyze sales data to understand customer purchasing patterns and product performance.
• Collaborate with marketing, IT, and product teams to implement data-driven recommendations.

Requirements

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Digital Analyst, E-commerce Analyst, or similar role.
• Proficiency with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce principles and online marketing channels.
• Excellent data analysis and interpretation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Detail-oriented and possesses strong problem-solving abilities within the Reading area.
