Digital Enablement Manager

Ideas People Trust

We're BDO. An accountancy and business advisory firm, providing the advice and solutions entrepreneurial organisations need to navigate today's changing world.

We work with the companies that are Britain's economic engine - ambitious, entrepreneurially-spirited and high growth businesses that fuel the economy - and directly advise the owners and management teams that lead them.

We'll broaden your horizons

To ensure our services and applications are fit for the modern market, our IT team collaborates with every department. They develop, they explore and they implement the new ideas helping us to change the future of accounting, tax and business consulting. But, just as importantly, they maintain the tech that keeps us advancing. By testing and adopting the future of financial technical solutions, they find new and exciting ways to drive us forward. And you could too. In an IT role at BDO, you'll become part of a team that act as the backbone for our business. No matter who you are or what your skillset is, we'll give you the training and support you need to achieve whatever you put your mind to.

We'll help you succeed

Leading organisations trust us because of the quality of our advice. That quality grows from a thorough understanding of their business, and that understanding comes from working closely with them and building long-lasting relationships.

You'll be someone who is both comfortable working proactively and managing your own tasks, as well as confident collaborating with others and communicating regularly with senior managers, directors, and BDO's partners to help businesses effectively. You'll be encouraged to identify and draw attention to opportunities for enhancing our delivery and providing additional services to organisations we work with.

About the role:

This role is focused on turning digital capability, including AI, into practical business value across the firm. Working closely with technical and non-technical teams, you'll identify opportunities to improve the way we work and help colleagues make the most of digital tools and technologies.

You'll play a key role in driving adoption and enablement of Microsoft 365, Copilot, AI-enabled workflows and other digital tools. This hands-on role brings together technology adoption, change, learning and stakeholder engagement to help teams use digital tools confidently in their everyday work.

You will act as a trusted adviser, helping teams identify opportunities to improve ways of working through technology and driving the adoption of digital and AI-enabled tools across the firm. You will develop and deliver adoption strategies, lead training and enablement activities, manage projects and stakeholders, and identify capability gaps to shape targeted learning and support. You will also create and continuously improve scalable learning resources, measure adoption and business impact, champion continuous improvement and responsible technology use, and support the development of colleagues through coaching, feedback and knowledge sharing.

You'll be someone with:

• Experience leading digital adoption, AI, automation, digital workplace or technology-enabled business improvement initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes.
• A strong understanding of change and adoption, with experience helping people embrace new tools and embed lasting changes in behaviour and ways of working.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft stack, AI-enabled workflows and related technologies, alongside an appreciation of governance, risk and responsible AI principles.
• Strong judgement and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess opportunities and balance competing priorities.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence a wide range of audiences.
• Experience facilitating workshops, delivering enablement activities and coaching colleagues to build confidence and capability.
• A collaborative and consultative approach to translate complex technologies into clear business opportunities.
• A data-driven mindset, focused on measuring business value and continuously improve outcomes.
