Digital Marketing Analyst

About the Role

Our client is seeking a data-driven and analytical Digital Marketing Analyst to join their team in Edinburgh . This role is crucial for measuring, analyzing, and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns, providing actionable insights to optimize strategy and drive ROI. You will be responsible for interpreting complex data, identifying trends, and communicating findings to stakeholders to ensure marketing efforts are effective and aligned with business objectives, working from their central Edinburgh office.

Key Responsibilities

• Track, measure, and analyze the performance of digital marketing campaigns across all channels (SEO, SEM, social media, email, display advertising).
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and present findings to the marketing team and senior management.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of website traffic, user behavior, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
• Identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in digital marketing strategies and tactics.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to set campaign goals, benchmarks, and measure success against them.
• Utilize web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and other data tools to gather and interpret data.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Digital Marketing Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
• Strong proficiency with web analytics platforms, particularly Google Analytics, and tag management systems.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing channels and performance metrics.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex data.
