About the Role
Our client is looking for a meticulous and insightful Digital Marketing Analyst to join their data-focused team in Oxford . This role is essential for providing critical analysis and reporting on the performance of all digital marketing initiatives, enabling data-driven decision-making across the marketing department. You will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and visualizing data from various sources to identify trends, measure campaign effectiveness, and recommend strategies for improvement. The ideal candidate has a strong analytical background, proficiency with data analysis tools, and a passion for uncovering actionable insights that drive marketing success in a collaborative hybrid work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze data from various digital marketing channels (e.g., website analytics, ad platforms, social media, email marketing).
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key marketing performance indicators (KPIs) and trends.
- Interpret complex data sets to identify insights, opportunities, and potential risks in marketing performance.
- Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing campaigns, improving website performance, and enhancing user experience.
- Collaborate with marketing managers and specialists to understand their data needs and provide relevant analysis.
- Conduct A/B testing analysis and provide insights on conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Stay current with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing analytics and data visualization.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing analytics, data analysis, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar platforms.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio) and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Understanding of digital marketing channels and metrics (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, etc.).
