About the Role

Our client is seeking a seasoned and strategic Director of Golf Operations to oversee all aspects of their prestigious golf facilities in Bristol . This leadership role is responsible for managing the golf course, clubhouse operations, staff, and ensuring an exceptional experience for members and guests. You will drive revenue growth, maintain high standards of service, and implement innovative strategies to enhance the club's reputation. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the golf course, including agronomy, course maintenance, and player services.
• Manage clubhouse operations, including food and beverage, retail, and event management.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team of golf professionals, course staff, and administrative personnel.
• Develop and manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting, ensuring profitability.
• Implement marketing and sales strategies to drive membership, event bookings, and revenue generation.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Golf Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in golf operations management, with a minimum of 5 years in a Director-level role.
• Proven track record in revenue generation, cost control, and P&L management.
• In-depth knowledge of golf course agronomy, tournament operations, and club management best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing diverse teams and complex operational environments.
