Dispatch Operative

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and efficient Dispatch Operative to join their logistics team in Bradford . You will be responsible for accurately preparing outgoing shipments, ensuring all orders are correctly picked, packed, and labeled for timely dispatch. This role requires a sharp focus on detail and a commitment to meeting dispatch deadlines. Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, you will contribute directly to customer satisfaction by ensuring orders are processed correctly and efficiently, playing a key part in the smooth functioning of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and assemble customer orders accurately according to pick lists.
• Ensure all outgoing shipments are correctly labeled, documented, and staged for collection.
• Perform quality checks on packed items to ensure they meet company standards.
• Operate relevant warehouse equipment as needed, such as pallet trucks.
• Maintain a clean and organized dispatch area to ensure operational efficiency.
• Communicate any issues or delays with supervisors or relevant departments promptly.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a dispatch or order picking role is preferred.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a warehouse environment, including lifting.
• Good understanding of warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.
