Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
• Ensure that all warehouse operations, such as receiving, put-away, picking, and dispatch, are conducted efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations and procedures.
• Train and onboard new team members, providing guidance and support.
• Monitor operational metrics and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Manage the flow of goods and materials within the distribution centre to meet operational demands.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards applicable to warehouses.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
