Our client is seeking a dedicated Domestic Abuse Support Officer to join their Community & Social Care team in Portsmouth . This crucial role involves providing immediate and ongoing support to individuals and families affected by domestic abuse, helping them to find safety and access necessary resources. You will work closely with local authorities and support networks to ensure comprehensive care and protection for victims. Key Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and confidential space for victims to disclose their experiences and needs.
• Offer practical support, including safety planning, risk assessment, and referrals to specialist services.
• Support clients in navigating legal processes, housing options, and emotional recovery.
• Liaise with police, social services, and other agencies to ensure coordinated support and protection.
• Maintain accurate and sensitive case records in compliance with data protection regulations.
• Deliver awareness sessions and training to community groups and professionals.

Requirements
