Wimbledon, London £40,000 – £45,000 per annum + Bonus Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm Permanent | Full Time

Your Recruitment Coach is recruiting for an experienced Domestic Gas Engineer to join a growing, family-run business based in Wimbledon.

Operating for over 10 years, our client provides a range of gas, heating, plumbing, electrical and drainage services across Greater London, with the majority of work covering West, South and South East London.

This is a permanent, salaried position offering a company van, fuel card, annual bonus and private healthcare.

The Role

As a Domestic Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Boiler servicing, diagnostics, fault finding and repairs.

*

Installing domestic boilers and heating systems.

*

Completing gas safety inspections and certificates.

*

Installing and repairing underfloor heating systems.

*

Installing heating and smart heating controls.

*

Installing and maintaining radiators, motorised valves and associated heating equipment.

*

Diagnosing faults across domestic heating systems.

*

Completing general plumbing maintenance when required.

*

Repairing leaks to toilets, basins, sinks, urinals and associated plumbing.

*

Attending emergency gas and water leaks.

*

Producing detailed job reports to support quotations and invoicing.

*

Communicating professionally with customers while on site.

*

Identifying additional work where appropriate.

*

Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will have:

*

A valid Gas Safe registration with the relevant domestic competencies.

*

A Level 2 Plumbing qualification or higher.

*

A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Gas Engineer.

*

Strong experience servicing, repairing and fault finding domestic boilers.

*

Good knowledge of domestic heating systems.

*

Previous plumbing maintenance experience.

*

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

*

The ability to complete accurate and detailed job reports.

*

A professional and presentable approach when dealing with customers.

*

Flexibility around working hours when required.

Recent employer references would be advantageous.
