Care Worker – Zero Hours Contract

Morningside Care Services are looking for caring and reliable Care Workers to join their team, supporting individuals in their own homes across Kent.

This is a flexible zero-hours opportunity, ideal for someone looking to choose shifts around their existing commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide person-centred care to service users in their own homes

• Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing and toileting where required

• Support service users with daily living activities

• Prepare meals and assist with eating and drinking

• Support with medication administration in line with care plans

• Provide companionship and emotional support

• Encourage independence, dignity and choice

• Support service users to attend appointments and activities

• Follow individual care plans and risk assessments

• Maintain accurate and confidential care records

• Follow safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures

About You

• Caring, compassionate and respectful approach

• Reliable, patient and understanding

• Good communication skills

• Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

• Previous care experience desirable but not essential, as full training is provided

• Willing to undertake relevant training and development

• Right to work in the UK

• Able to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays

• Satisfactory references and enhanced DBS check where applicable

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle desirable for community-based roles
