About the Role
Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical E-commerce Analyst to join their team in Sheffield . This role is vital for driving business growth by interpreting complex e-commerce data, identifying key trends, and providing actionable insights to optimize online performance. You will work closely with marketing, sales, and operations teams to understand customer behavior, measure campaign effectiveness, and inform strategic decisions that enhance the customer journey and boost sales. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills and a deep understanding of the e-commerce landscape.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze e-commerce sales data, website traffic, and customer behavior to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) for e-commerce operations, marketing campaigns, and website performance.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of customer segmentation, purchase behavior, and lifetime value.
- Evaluate the performance of marketing campaigns and promotional activities, providing insights on ROI and effectiveness.
- Monitor website performance metrics, including conversion rates, bounce rates, and user flow, to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into strategic recommendations for product, marketing, and operational enhancements.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst , Data Analyst, or Business Analyst in an e-commerce environment.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and data visualization software (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with web analytics platforms such as Google Analytics.
- Excellent quantitative and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of e-commerce principles, including sales funnels, customer journeys, and online marketing channels.
