E-commerce Analyst

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly analytical and data-driven E-commerce Analyst to join their growing team in Sheffield . This role is vital for uncovering insights and trends that will inform strategic decisions across the e-commerce business, from marketing and sales to website optimization and customer experience. You will be responsible for collecting, interpreting, and presenting complex data sets to provide actionable recommendations that drive revenue growth and improve operational efficiency. The ideal candidate possesses strong quantitative skills, a deep understanding of e-commerce metrics, and the ability to communicate findings effectively to diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large volumes of e-commerce data from various sources (e.g., web analytics, sales data, CRM).
• Develop dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, traffic, conversion rates, and customer behavior.
• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth and optimization within the e-commerce business.
• Conduct deep-dive analyses into specific areas such as customer acquisition costs, lifetime value, and product performance.
• Translate complex data findings into clear, concise, and actionable recommendations for business stakeholders.
• Support A/B testing initiatives by designing experiments, analyzing results, and providing insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Marketing, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical role , preferably within e-commerce or digital marketing.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI, Google Analytics).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce metrics and KPIs.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
