About the Role
Our client is seeking a data-driven and insightful E-commerce Analyst to join their growing team on a fully remote basis, supporting their operations based in Plymouth . This role is critical for interpreting complex e-commerce data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across their online platforms and marketing efforts. You will be instrumental in providing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions related to sales, marketing, and customer experience. Key Responsibilities
- Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from various e-commerce sources (e.g., website analytics, sales data, customer feedback).
- Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to track e-commerce performance against business objectives.
- Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales, customer behavior, and marketing campaign performance.
- Generate regular reports and presentations summarizing findings and providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders.
- Conduct deep-dive analyses into specific areas such as customer acquisition cost, conversion rates, and customer lifetime value.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to translate data insights into actionable strategies.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an E-commerce Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role, with demonstrable analytical skills.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques, including SQL, Excel, and potentially R or Python.
- Experience with web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
- Excellent ability to interpret data and communicate complex findings clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
