About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and analytical E-commerce & Social Media Analyst to join their growing team in Edinburgh . This role is crucial for interpreting data from our social media channels and online store to drive strategic decision-making and optimize performance. You will be responsible for tracking key metrics, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to enhance customer engagement, conversion rates, and overall online revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze social media performance data, identifying key drivers of engagement and conversion.
• Track and report on e-commerce website traffic, sales data, and customer behavior patterns.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) for stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify strategic opportunities.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing social media campaigns and e-commerce strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to translate data insights into actionable plans.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or similar role, with a focus on social media and e-commerce .
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Excel, SQL).
• Experience with social media analytics platforms (e.g., Facebook Insights, Sprout Social Analytics).
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings clearly and concisely.
• Understanding of A/B testing principles and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
