About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and detail-oriented E-commerce Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator to enhance their online brand narrative and customer engagement. This role is pivotal in developing captivating content that drives traffic to their e-commerce site and builds a strong community across social platforms. While the role is primarily based out of our Cardiff office, we offer a hybrid working model, allowing for a blend of in-office collaboration and remote flexibility. You will be responsible for generating visually appealing and engaging content, managing social media calendars, and interacting with our online audience to foster brand loyalty and drive sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, create, and edit high-quality visual and written content for social media, website, and marketing materials, including product photography, graphics, and short videos.
- Develop and manage a content calendar for all social media channels, ensuring a consistent and engaging presence.
- Write compelling copy for social media posts, product descriptions, and promotional materials that aligns with brand voice and objectives.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and foster community engagement.
- Track content performance using analytics tools and provide regular reports on engagement, reach, and impact.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to align content creation with campaign strategies and product launches.
Requirements
- Proven experience in content creation, graphic design, and social media management, ideally within an e-commerce context.
- Proficiency with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) and video editing tools.
- Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a strong understanding of brand voice.
- Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite) and analytics platforms.
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online marketing principles.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with a proactive approach to task completion in a hybrid work setting.
