About the Role

Our client is looking for a creative and detail-oriented E-commerce Content Specialist to join their team in Cardiff . This role is essential for enhancing the online shopping experience by producing compelling and informative product descriptions, engaging website copy, and captivating marketing materials. You will play a key role in ensuring brand consistency, optimizing content for search engines, and ultimately driving customer engagement and sales through high-quality written and visual content. Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and proofread product descriptions, website copy, blog posts, and marketing emails to ensure accuracy, clarity, and brand voice consistency.
• Develop creative and persuasive content that highlights product features and benefits, driving customer interest and conversion.
• Optimize all website content for search engines (SEO) to improve organic search rankings and website traffic.
• Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all content assets.
• Manage and update product information on the e-commerce platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the creation of visual content concepts and work with designers to produce engaging graphics and videos.

Requirements

• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role, preferably within an e-commerce or digital marketing environment.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated understanding of SEO principles and best practices for web content.
• Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and e-commerce platforms .
• Ability to translate technical product features into engaging customer benefits.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
