About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and strategic E-commerce Manager to lead their online retail operations, working remotely from Cambridge . This senior role will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall e-commerce strategy, driving online sales growth, and enhancing the customer experience across all digital touchpoints. You will manage a team, oversee website performance, and collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT departments to achieve ambitious business objectives. The ideal candidate is a visionary leader with a proven track record in e-commerce growth and a deep understanding of digital marketing, analytics, and platform management.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce website, including product merchandising, promotions, and content.
- Oversee online marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email marketing campaigns.
- Analyze website performance metrics and customer data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the e-commerce team, fostering a high-performance culture remotely from Cambridge .
Requirements
- Proven experience (5+ years) as an E-commerce Manager or in a similar senior digital role.
- Demonstrated success in driving online sales growth and managing P&Ls.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, digital marketing channels, and analytics tools.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage a remote team and operations.
