About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day running of their online retail operations in Bradford . This crucial role involves ensuring seamless order fulfillment, inventory management, and customer service processes to deliver an exceptional online shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire e-commerce order fulfillment process, from order placement to final delivery.
- Oversee inventory levels, conduct regular stock takes, and implement strategies to minimize discrepancies.
- Supervise and train the warehouse and customer service teams, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Monitor key operational metrics (e.g., order accuracy, shipping times, return rates) and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with IT and logistics partners to ensure smooth system integration and delivery efficiency.
- Handle escalated customer service issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations management or a similar logistics/warehouse management role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management systems, order processing, and shipping logistics.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in training and developing staff.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and operational software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on operational efficiency.
