E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client, a thriving e-commerce business based in Bradford , is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize their online sales operations. This critical role ensures the smooth functioning of the entire e-commerce ecosystem, from website management and order fulfillment to customer service and inventory control. You will be responsible for implementing best practices to enhance efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability. This is a hands-on position requiring a detail-oriented individual who can manage day-to-day operations and drive strategic improvements within our West Yorkshire hub.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of daily e-commerce operations, including website maintenance, order processing, and inventory management.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipping.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve website usability, conversion rates, and the overall customer experience.
• Monitor key operational metrics (e.g., order accuracy, shipping times, inventory turnover) and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to ensure alignment between promotional activities and operational capabilities.
• Implement and refine customer service protocols to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations management or a related field.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, order management systems, and inventory control procedures.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex processes.
• Experience with logistics, shipping, and fulfillment operations.
