About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize the day-to-day operations of their online business in Oxford . This critical role ensures the seamless flow of orders from placement to fulfillment, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction. You will manage inventory, logistics, customer service interactions, and operational efficiency to support the company's growth objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire e-commerce order fulfillment process, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and shipping carriers to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery.
- Lead and manage the customer service team, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of customer inquiries and issues.
- Implement and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.
- Monitor operational performance metrics and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and drive strategic decisions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations management or a similar logistics/supply chain role.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processes.
- Experience managing customer service operations and teams.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and operational management software.
