E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly organized E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee their online business operations in Portsmouth . This role is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the e-commerce platform, from order processing and inventory management to shipping and customer service. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of e-commerce operations, including order fulfillment, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) and shipping carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Implement and refine operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve customer experience.
• Monitor inventory levels, forecast demand, and manage stock replenishment to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Develop and manage the customer service function, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Analyze operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
• Proven ability to manage complex operational processes and multiple stakeholders.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and inventory management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills, with experience managing teams in Portsmouth .
