About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee their day-to-day online business functions in Stoke-on-Trent . This crucial role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the e-commerce platform, from inventory management and order fulfillment to customer service and website maintenance. You will be instrumental in optimizing processes to enhance customer satisfaction and drive operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize all aspects of the e-commerce operations, including order processing, inventory management, warehousing, and fulfillment.
- Oversee the customer service function, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of inquiries and issues.
- Implement and refine operational processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate with the IT and web development teams to ensure website functionality and performance.
- Monitor key operational metrics and generate reports to identify areas for improvement and strategic decision-making.
- Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and suppliers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations management or a similar role, with a strong understanding of online retail logistics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, fulfillment, and customer service operations effectively.
- Experience with e-commerce platforms, order management systems (OMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on process improvement.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage a team and cross-functional relationships.
