E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and experienced E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee their online business operations in Manchester . This crucial role involves managing the day-to-day activities of the e-commerce platform, ensuring smooth order fulfillment, inventory management, and exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in optimizing operational workflows, improving efficiency, and driving profitability for the online channel. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain logistics, warehouse management, and the technical aspects of e-commerce platforms, making them instrumental in the success of our client's digital retail presence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the entire e-commerce order fulfillment process, from order placement to delivery.
• Oversee inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize stockouts or overstocking.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency and shipping logistics.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through responsive and effective customer support.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure seamless operations.
• Monitor key operational performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce operations or logistics management.
• Demonstrated experience in inventory control, order fulfillment, and supply chain management.
• Proficiency with e-commerce backend systems and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
