E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive E-commerce Operations Manager to oversee and optimize their online sales operations in Sunderland . This critical role ensures the smooth day-to-day running of the e-commerce platform, from order processing to fulfillment and customer service, aiming for maximum efficiency and customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for streamlining processes, managing inventory, and working with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the e-commerce order fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, forecasting, and minimizing stockouts or overstock situations.
• Liaise with third-party logistics providers to ensure timely and cost-effective shipping and delivery.
• Monitor customer service inquiries related to orders and deliveries, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
• Implement and refine operational processes to enhance customer experience and reduce costs.
• Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks and areas for improvement within the online sales workflow .

Requirements

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations management or a similar logistics/supply chain role.
• Strong understanding of inventory management systems and fulfillment processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with e-commerce platforms and order management systems.
• Leadership qualities and experience managing teams or external partners, based in or willing to relocate to Sunderland .
