Remote E-commerce Operations Manager

About the Role

Our client is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Remote E-commerce Operations Manager to lead and optimize their online sales operations. This position, based remotely but ideally with connections to our Sunderland hub, is critical for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all e-commerce functions. You will be instrumental in managing inventory, streamlining order fulfillment, and enhancing the overall customer journey from purchase to delivery. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily e-commerce operations, including order processing, inventory management, and fulfillment logistics.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve website user experience and increase conversion rates.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and other vendors to ensure service level agreements are met.
• Analyse operational data to identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with customer service teams to resolve order-related issues and enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience in e-commerce operations management , supply chain, or logistics.
• Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, order management systems (OMS), and warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Experience in managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers is a plus.
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operations management.
