E-commerce Operations Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly organized and proactive E-commerce Operations Specialist to manage the day-to-day running of their online retail operations from Leeds . This role is critical to ensuring a seamless customer experience from order placement to delivery. You will be responsible for optimizing processes, managing inventory, and troubleshooting any operational challenges that arise. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of e-commerce logistics, a problem-solving mindset, and experience working with various operational tools and platforms, contributing to the efficient functioning of our digital business.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire order fulfillment process, ensuring timely and accurate processing and dispatch of orders.
• Manage inventory levels across all sales channels, implementing strategies to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
• Collaborate with third-party logistics providers (3PLs) to ensure efficient warehousing and shipping operations.
• Monitor website performance and troubleshoot any technical issues impacting the customer journey or order processing.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.
• Handle customer service inquiries related to orders, shipping, and returns, ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations or a related field.
• Solid understanding of inventory management, order fulfillment, and supply chain logistics.
• Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento) and order management systems (OMS).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic e-commerce environment .
