E-commerce Operations Specialist

About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented E-commerce Operations Specialist to ensure the smooth and efficient running of their online store operations in Southampton . This role is crucial for managing inventory, processing orders, coordinating with logistics partners, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction. You will be the backbone of our client's e-commerce fulfillment process, ensuring that products reach customers accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the e-commerce platform , including order processing, fulfillment, and shipping.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
• Liaise with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, shipping, and returns promptly and professionally.
• Monitor website performance and work with the technical team to resolve any operational glitches.
• Contribute to process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.

Requirements

• Previous experience in e-commerce operations or a similar logistics/fulfillment role.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and order processing software.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with e-commerce platforms.
