E-commerce Platform Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic E-commerce Platform Manager to lead the development and optimization of their online store, operating in a fully remote capacity. This role is pivotal in ensuring our e-commerce platform provides a seamless, intuitive, and high-converting customer experience. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the platform, working closely with technical teams, marketing, and operations to implement new features, troubleshoot issues, and drive performance improvements. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of e-commerce technologies and a proven ability to manage complex digital platforms in a remote-first environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the e-commerce platform , including strategy, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
• Collaborate with development teams to plan, prioritize, and deploy new features, functionalities, and integrations.
• Monitor platform performance, uptime, and security, ensuring a stable and reliable user experience.
• Analyze user behavior and sales data to identify opportunities for improving website navigation, user journey, and conversion rates.
• Oversee the integration of third-party tools and applications (e.g., CRM, payment gateways, marketing automation).
• Ensure the platform is compliant with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience managing and scaling complex e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).

• Experience working with agile development methodologies and cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
