About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced E-commerce Platform Manager to oversee and optimize their online sales channels from their Cambridge location. This strategic role involves managing the e-commerce platform, ensuring a seamless customer journey, driving sales growth, and enhancing the overall online user experience. You will work with cross-functional teams to implement new features, improve site performance, and stay ahead of digital trends. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the e-commerce platform, ensuring its stability, security, and optimal performance.
- Develop and execute strategies to improve website conversion rates, average order value, and customer lifetime value.
- Oversee product catalog management, including uploading new products, updating descriptions, and managing pricing.
- Collaborate with IT, marketing, and operations teams to implement new features, integrations, and functionalities.
- Analyze website performance data, user behaviour, and sales metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Stay abreast of e-commerce best practices, emerging technologies, and competitor activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in e-commerce platform management , preferably with platforms like Shopify, Magento, or similar.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, UX/UI design, and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
- Experience with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and reporting.
- Excellent project management skills and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
