E-commerce Platform Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a seasoned E-commerce Platform Manager to lead the strategy, development, and ongoing optimization of their online retail presence in Wolverhampton . This integral role ensures that our e-commerce platform is robust, user-friendly, and drives maximum sales conversion. You will be responsible for the technical and functional aspects of the platform, working closely with development teams, marketing, and operations to deliver an exceptional online customer experience. This is a strategic leadership position for an experienced e-commerce professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management and strategic roadmap of the e-commerce platform.
• Manage platform upgrades, integrations, and new feature implementations.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure an intuitive and engaging customer journey.
• Work with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and optimize product merchandising.
• Monitor platform performance, uptime, and security, addressing issues promptly.
• Analyze user behavior and sales data to identify opportunities for platform enhancement.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in managing and optimizing e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify Plus, Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud).
• Strong understanding of e-commerce best practices, including SEO, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and user experience (UX).
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional projects involving technical and marketing teams.
• Experience with A/B testing and analytics tools to drive data-informed decisions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
