About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept E-commerce Platform Specialist to manage and enhance their online store's functionality and user experience in Sheffield . You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of the e-commerce platform, implementing new features, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring optimal performance. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce technologies, website management, and a commitment to delivering a seamless online shopping experience. You will collaborate with IT, marketing, and customer service teams to drive platform improvements and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain the company's e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento), ensuring its smooth operation.
• Implement and configure new features, modules, and integrations to enhance functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the website, ensuring minimal disruption to users.
• Optimize website performance, including site speed, mobile responsiveness, and user navigation.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to implement promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies on the platform.
• Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends and technologies to propose platform improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience managing and administering e-commerce platforms .
• Familiarity with common e-commerce platforms and their functionalities.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for website customization is advantageous.
• Experience with website analytics and performance monitoring tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in Sheffield .
