E-commerce Product Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and visionary E-commerce Product Manager to define and drive the product strategy for their online platforms in Edinburgh . You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and iteration, focusing on enhancing user experience and achieving business goals. This hybrid role allows for a balance of collaborative work sessions in the office and focused remote work, fostering a productive and flexible environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to deliver best-in-class e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the e-commerce platform, aligning with business objectives.
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user research to identify customer needs and product opportunities.
• Write detailed product specifications, user stories, and requirements for new features and improvements.
• Prioritize the product backlog and manage sprints in collaboration with the development team.
• Work closely with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences.
• Analyze product performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and iterate on products to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager in an e-commerce or digital product environment.
• Strong understanding of the full product development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and product management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Experience conducting user research, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking.
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
