E-commerce Product Manager

About the Role

Our client is looking for a strategic and customer-focused E-commerce Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for their online product offerings in Portsmouth . This role is instrumental in defining and delivering a best-in-class online shopping experience that meets customer needs and achieves business objectives. You will collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to bring new features and improvements to market, ensuring our e-commerce platform remains competitive and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the e-commerce platform, based on customer needs, market analysis, and business goals.
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements, user stories, and prototypes for new features and enhancements.
• Prioritize the product backlog and manage the development process in close collaboration with engineering teams.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and potential threats in the e-commerce landscape.
• Work with UX/UI designers to create intuitive and engaging user experiences across the website and mobile applications.
• Analyze product performance metrics, gather customer feedback, and iterate on products to drive continuous improvement and user satisfaction.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Product Manager , ideally with a strong focus on e-commerce platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, roadmaps, and detailed requirements.
• Experience working with agile development methodologies and cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles and customer-centric product development.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
