E-commerce Specialist - FMCG (Remote)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a results-driven E-commerce Specialist to join their dynamic, fully remote team and spearhead their online sales strategy within the FMCG sector. This role is pivotal in driving online revenue growth, enhancing customer experience on e-commerce platforms, and managing digital shelf presence. You will be responsible for optimizing online product listings, developing digital marketing campaigns, and analyzing e-commerce performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of online retail channels, digital marketing best practices, and a passion for the fast-moving consumer goods market.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to increase online sales and conversion rates across various e-commerce platforms.
• Optimize product content, imagery, and descriptions on online retail sites to improve search visibility and customer engagement.
• Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns, including paid search, social media advertising, and email marketing, to drive traffic and sales.
• Analyze e-commerce performance data, generating reports on KPIs such as traffic, conversion rates, AOV, and ROI.
• Collaborate with external partners and internal teams to ensure seamless online order fulfillment and customer service.
• Stay abreast of e-commerce trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of experience in e-commerce management or digital marketing, preferably in FMCG.
• Proven experience with online retail platforms (e.g., Amazon, major grocery e-commerce sites).
• Proficiency in digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
• Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, and social media advertising principles.
• Excellent communication and project management skills, comfortable working in a remote setting.
