Early Careers Trainee (Placement - 12 months)

Translink Corporate Finance UK brings together a 25 strong team of M&A specialists. We advise on a range of private company M&A with sector expertise across technology, business services, industrials, energy and healthcare.

As part of BHP and the wider Sumer Group, we offer clients the strength of a national platform with the agility and personal service of a specialist advisory team.

We’re proud to be part of the Sumer Group, one of the UK’s fastest-growing accountancy practices. Together, we’re creating brighter futures for our people, our clients, and our communities.

We’re now inviting applications for our 12-month Undergraduate Placements in Corporate Finance. If you want to get to the heart of what makes businesses tick, then this may be the opportunity for you.

Role Overview

You’ll be joining a friendly, professional team where enthusiasm, curiosity and commitment are valued as highly as experience.

As an Undergraduate Placement student, you’ll spend a year gaining real-world experience in global mid-market M&A, developing the skills and confidence to help launch your future career.

After an immersive induction alongside our trainee and placement cohort, you’ll quickly become part of the team, contributing to client work from day one. We offer expertise to a range of clients including corporates, management teams, investors and funders.

Working in Corporate Finance, you’ll gain hands on experience assisting clients in executing their key strategic plans, whether that be selling their business or understanding how they can grow and improve it. As your technical knowledge develops, you’ll take on meaningful responsibilities with plenty of support and guidance.

This is your chance to gain practical insight before you graduate - with the potential to return as a Graduate Trainee if you perform well during your placement.
