Early Years Educator (Level 2)

About the Role

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Early Years Educator with at least a Level 2 qualification to join their nursery team in Nottingham . You will assist in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their learning and development through play and daily activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about childcare to gain valuable experience and grow within a supportive setting. You will work closely with experienced practitioners and contribute to the overall well-being and happiness of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering high-quality care and education under the guidance of senior staff.
• Engage children in a variety of play-based activities that promote their learning and development.
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Support children with personal care routines, including feeding, nappy changing, and hygiene.
• Observe children's activities and report any concerns or developmental progress to the room leader.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare or equivalent is essential.
• Previous experience working with young children is desirable but not essential for motivated candidates.
• A genuine passion for working with children and a patient, kind disposition.
• Good understanding of basic childcare principles and safeguarding.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to undertake further training and obtain a Level 3 qualification.
