Early Years Educator (Level 2)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator with a Level 2 qualification to join their busy nursery in Sheffield . This role is fundamental in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5. You will work as part of a dedicated team, assisting in the planning and delivery of stimulating activities that support children's learning and development. Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision to children, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being at all times.
• Assist in the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum through play-based activities.
• Support children's learning and development by engaging them in a variety of stimulating indoor and outdoor experiences.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised environment, ensuring resources are accessible and well-maintained.
• Observe and record children's progress, contributing to their learning journey files.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education or equivalent.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and understanding of their developmental needs.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Awareness of safeguarding, health, and safety regulations in a childcare setting.
• Reliability, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
