Early Years Educator (Nursery)

About the Role

Our client is looking for a caring and dedicated Early Years Educator to join a friendly nursery in Norwich . This part-time position offers a wonderful opportunity to contribute to the development and well-being of young children in their crucial early years. You will create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment where children can explore, learn, and grow through play. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities for young children based on the EYFS framework.
• Supervise children, ensuring their safety, well-being, and happiness at all times.
• Engage children in play and learning experiences that promote their development.
• Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate with parents and carers.

Requirements

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Years Education.
• Previous experience working with children aged 0-5.
• A good understanding of child development and the EYFS principles.
• Warm, caring, and patient disposition.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
