Early Years Educator (Nursery)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join their nurturing nursery in Belfast . You will be responsible for providing exceptional care and education to children aged 0-5, creating a stimulating and safe learning environment. This role is central to the positive development of young children, focusing on play-based learning and fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. You will work collaboratively with a team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing the best start for every child.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage principles.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing constructive feedback to parents.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and hygiene of all children under your care.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued.
• Maintain excellent relationships with parents, communicating regularly about their child's development.
• Work as part of a team, contributing to the overall success of the nursery.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 2 or 3 qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
• Sound knowledge of child development and the EYFS framework.
• A genuine passion for working with young children and a caring nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
