Early Years Educator - SEN Support

About the Role

Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Early Years Educator with a specialization in SEN support to join their inclusive setting in Wolverhampton . This role is integral to ensuring that children with special educational needs receive the tailored support they require to thrive alongside their peers. You will work closely with the SEN coordinator, other educators, and parents to implement effective learning strategies and create an environment where every child feels valued and supported. Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) within the early years setting.
• Implement tailored learning plans and activities to meet the specific needs of SEN children.
• Work collaboratively with parents, external agencies, and the SEN coordinator to support children's progress.
• Assist with daily routines and ensure the physical, emotional, and educational needs of SEN children are met.
• Adapt resources and environments to ensure accessibility and engagement for all children.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports on children's development and progress.

Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field.
• Demonstrable experience working with children with SEN.
• Knowledge of relevant SEN legislation and best practices.
• Excellent observation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
• Willingness to undergo further training related to SEN support.
