About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Educator to join their vibrant team, specifically working within the Toddler Room at their nursery in Plymouth . This role is vital in providing a secure, stimulating, and nurturing environment where toddlers can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging activities that foster development in all areas, maintaining excellent communication with parents, and ensuring the highest standards of safety and care. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality, age-appropriate learning experiences for toddlers.
• Observe and track children's progress, identifying individual needs and providing tailored support.
• Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment, adhering to all safeguarding policies.
• Build positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and social skills.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about their child's development and daily experiences.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards within the toddler room.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education, or equivalent.
• Experience working with toddlers or in an early years setting is preferred.
• A good understanding of child development, particularly for the 1-3 age range.
• Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
• A proactive approach to safeguarding and child protection.
